JEC’s US Construction Event Receives Positive Feedback
The Future of Composites in Construction, co-located with Techtextil North America, attracted 3096 visitors from around the world and 550 attendees to the symposium, reports JEC Group.
The event focused on current and future developments in the use of composites materials in building and construction, showcasing innovative ways in which end-users such as architects and designers construct buildings and infrastructure.
“We are very happy that our end users’ approach to the industry elicits positive feedback,” comments Frédérique Mutel, JEC Group President and CEO. “For this particular event we managed to attract architects and designers who could learn and experience how composite materials could change their way of working tomorrow, offering them endless possibilities. We will continue to target the users of composites in our next events.”
“Indeed, JEC Group will return to Chicago to focus on the transportation industry with The Future of Composites in Transportation in June 2018 and we have already planned to stay in Chicago in June 2019 for another Future of Composites in Construction,” adds Nicolas Baudry, North America Events Director for JEC Group.
“The trade show was well run and seemed to be thoughtfully planned, with time for exhibits, demonstrations, presentations and meetings,” notes Ron Blackburn, Marketing Coordinator, Magnum Venus Products. “The trade show itself was very successful for our company. We interacted and networked with many different customers and potential customers, resulting in an encouraging number of leads and connections. For this being the first trade show of its kind, JEC Construction went very smoothly, and even exceeded expectations in many ways,”
